Jeneva Burroughs Stone is a caregiver for her son, who has a rare disease that has left him profoundly disabled. She is a contributing editor for Pentimento: Journal of All Things Disability, an occasional contributor to AmericaBlog News on caregiving and disability issues, and she has kept two blogs of her own on caregiving and disability.
Ms. Stone is also a poet and writer, with a PhD in Renaissance literature as well as a Master of Fine Arts. Her creative nonfiction and poems have been published widely in literary journals, and she is working on a memoir about the 14-year search for her son’s diagnosis.
We'll be featuring Jeneva's writing later this week. Check back soon to read her contributions to the CAREGIFTED blog!
