Craig's back is beginning to feel the stress of accumulated years of lifting...  he adores his daughter, a single smile from whom can banish cumuli and polar vortices -- but as the sole caregiver for a couple of decades, his back feels the strain of the lifting and carrying...  And that's just part of the story.  Governments aren't always the best organizers and deliverers of help-- and the difficulties that arise in ordering parts for her wheelchair make the offer of help in that department all but fictive.  Plus, you should hear the special challenges fathers of daughters face in trying to care for their long-beloved kids.  (It would break your heart.)  This man, like all family caregivers of the severely disabled, deserves the best week off that we can give him.
